December Wrap-Up

In the craziness of the new year, I completely forgot that I needed to post my December wrap-up! Of course, I already wrapped up my favorite books of 2010, but now for a full recap of December here at Cover to Cover.

Books Read:

(Please click the book title to see my review)

The Perfect Christmas by Debbie Macomber
My Nest Isn’t Empty, It Just Has More Closet Space by Lisa Scottoline and Francesca Scottoline Serritella
Things I Know About Love by Kate Le Vann
Where Angels Go by Debbie Macomber
Little Black Lies by Tish Cohen
Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver
Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks

My favorite book in December? Definitely BEFORE I FALL by Lauren Oliver…this book was incredible and really got me thinking about my own life.

On The Blog:

-I read 7 books and reviewed 7 books.

-I checked in on my 2010 goals…overall, I didn’t do too bad and accomplished a lot throughout the year.

-I joined in Be Jolly By Golly and shared photos of my house all decked out for Christmas.

-I discovered the beauty of Netgalley…this post I wrote even ended up on NG’s Facebook page!

-I interviewed author Francesca Scottoline Serritella

This Month I Hope To:

-Read at least 8 books.

-Line up a few more author interviews.

-Write a few writing-related posts.

-Meet up with some local Philly-area book bloggers!

How was December for you? What are you up to this month? Any new goals?

  1. December was amazing for me! I really got into the swing of things and did a full resolution post for 2011. I’m doing my best to read a lot more contemps, and I’m hoping to query my novel by the end of February! Those are my two biggest goals right now.

You did so well last month, Jessica! 🙂

  2. Eeks, I completely forgot to do a December wrap up post, too! I was too busy working on my yearly wrap up posts. It looks like you had a great month! Good luck with your goals. Meeting up with local bloggers would be super fun.

  3. Before I Fall is definitely on my to-buy list! I have Delirium waiting in the review pile (although I know that they are totally different types of books), but I’m getting to it within the next week, since it’s out on the 1st!
