Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Sequels I’m Dying To Read

Today, I’m participating in The Broke and Bookish’s weekly feature Top Ten Tuesday. Today’s topic is:

Top Ten Sequels I’m Dying To Read

This was an easy-peasy ‘Top Ten’ for me to finish because I absolutely LOVE series…in fact, most of the books I read in 2011 happened to be series.

1. Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver: DELIRIUM was literally the number one book I read in 2011, and I am probably more excited for PANDEMONIUM than I’ve ever been for any book.

2. Crossed by Ally Condie: Right up there with loving DELIRIUM, I adored MATCHED and can’t wait to see what happens next.

3. Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins: This has got to be one of the most anticipated books of 2011, and I am lucky to have received a copy from my friend Kelly in the mail last week. It’s up next on my list of books to read.

4. The Lies That Bind by Lisa and Laura Roecker: Who didn’t love THE LIAR SOCIETY? Such a fantastic book written by two lovely sisters. I definitely won’t miss reading this next installment.

5. Ruthless by Sara Shepard: I adore pretty much anything Sara Shepard writes so clearly the next book in the Pretty Little Liars series makes this list.

6. Insurgent by Veronica Roth: DIVERGENT was SUCH an impressive debut..I am so ready to find out what happens to Tris next.

7. This Is So Not Happening by Kieran Scott: I adored SHE’S SO DEAD TO US and HE’S SO NOT WORTH IT and can’t wait to find out what happens to Ally in this final installment.

8. Thumped by Megan McCafferty: I didn’t even realize this book had a title until I was doing some research for this post! It’s not out until April 2012, but still very exciting!

9.  Vengeance by Kate Brian: This is the final book in the PRIVATE series, one of the very first books I reviewed on this blog two years ago! This series holds a special place in my heart, and I’m so excited that I won’t have to wait long to read this because I purchased it yesterday.

10. Untitled Hourglass #2 by Myra McEntire: I’m not normally a huge paranormal/fantasty type of girl, but HOURGLASS caught me by surprise and I’m looking forward to learning more about McEntire’s sophomore novel.

What sequels are you dying to read?

  1. I cannot believe I forgot about Lola! Oh my goodness what is wrong with me? And it comes out this month too. I probably would have put the sequels to Delirium and Divergent on my list too, but I still have read the first in the series yet. I will read them soon, very soon. (or I may just have some bloggers yelling at me! lol)

  2. I totally agree with you about Pandemonium. The wait for that book feels endless! Hope you love Lola. It’s such a fun book. I just recently heard about Thumped too- very curious about that one. Great list!

  3. You already have Lola!??! Jealous.

I really want to read She’s So dead to Us and the others. It looks like a fun read – think I’ll like them?

Thanks for stopping by! 😀 Love your list
