In My Mailbox (41)

In My Mailbox, started by Kristi from The Story Siren is an awesome weekly meme to post what books we’ve received this week; whether it was sent for review from a publisher, purchased at a book store, borrowed from the library, or won from a giveaway.

Um, hello AMAZING week! Two books I have been absolutely dying to read arrived in my mailbox via the amazing Kelly from Stacked. After getting stuck in Pittsburgh due to Hurricane Irene, when I arrived home on Monday evening, this package was an extremely welcome surprise. I am taking both of these lovely books down the shore this weekend to enjoy one final week of summer!

Sent from Kelly:

Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins: This a must-read for so many people, including me! I’ve already seen rave reviews of it, and after reading and enjoying ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS, I am so excited to meet Lola.

Shut Out by Kody Keplinger: Okay, this is basically one of my most anticipated books of this fall. I adored THE DUFF, was SO impressed by Kody Keplinger’s writing and can’t wait to start her second novel.

Oh, and this wasn’t in my mailbox, but it did arrive in my driveway…my new car! Oh and if you’re wondering what her name is after I asked for your advice on Thursday, I’m leaning toward Rosie. She just feels like a Rosie to me, and it’s beginning to stick.

What’s in your mailbox today?

  1. I finally picked up Anna, so I’m hoping I can discover what all the hype is all about! And I’m sure as soon as I finish I’ll be wanting to pick up Lola too

  2. Awesome mailbox! I’ve heard many, many great things about both books! I really want to read Shut Out too. I would too for Lola, but haven’t read Anna yet.

And nice car! I need to get a car too for school. 🙁
