In My Mailbox (49)

In My Mailbox, started by Kristi from The Story Siren is an awesome weekly meme to post what books we’ve received this week; whether it was sent for review from a publisher, purchased at a book store, borrowed from the library, or won from a giveaway.

Guess where I am right now? The fabulous Hotel Hershey and Chocolate Spa. Yes, you read that right. CHOCOLATE spa. Today I will be getting a facial, pumpkin wrap and a cocoa massage. Heavenly!

Oh right…you came here to see what books I got this week…onto the books!

For Review:

The Secret Sisterhood of Heartbreakers by Lynn Weingarten: After featuring this book in a Waiting On Wednesday post awhile back and commenting on everyone’s IMM’s about how jealous I was they got a copy of this book, I was SO excited when the author, Lynn Weingarten, emailed me and offered me a review copy.

From NetGalley:

The Next Door Boys by Jolene B. Perry: I got this one a few weeks back, but forgot to post it. I am so excited to read this book because cancer is a topic that is very personal to me as I’ve had several family members battle the disease and I also work on the PR team of a hospital where I regularly get to meet inspiring cancer fighters.

What’s in your mailbox today?

  1. I was indifferent, but am leaning more and more toward being interested in THE SECRET SISTERHOOD OF HEART BREAKERS! I got two cancer-related books from Harcourt this week, RADIATE and NEVER EIGHTEEN. Check those out, too 🙂

  2. The Hershey Spa isn’t too far from me and I’ve never been there! It sounds divine. Enjoy your time there. I really want to read The Secret Sisterhood of Heartbreakers….I hope you enjoy it!

  3. I’ve been seeing The Secret Sisterhood of Heartbreakers around lately and think it has such a beautiful cover. I think just for the cover I’d love to have at least just to look at, and even if I never read it.

And I feel silly writing this, but did you see my post yesterday? I gave you a shout-out 🙂

  4. I have been desperate to go to a spa for so long. I almost went last year for my birthday, but opted for an elliptical machine instead. I am dying for a massage and facial! I am so jealous of you right now lol. And not only because of the spa, but because you also got some pretty sweet books!
