Waiting On Wednesday

Today, I’m participating in Waiting on Wednesday, a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine. This event highlights the upcoming releases that we are eagerly awaiting!

Today, I am waiting for…

Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me by Chelsea’s Family, Friends and Other Victims (May 10, 2011 by Borderline Amazing)

Check out this Amazon summary:

It’s no lie: Chelsea Handler loves to smoke out “dumbassness,” the condition people suffer from that allows them to fall prey to her brand of complete and utter nonsense. Friends, family, co-workers–they’ve all been tricked by Chelsea into believing stories of total foolishness and into behaving like total fools. Luckily, they’ve lived to tell the tales and, for the very first time, write about them.

Friends, family members, and co-workers of Chelsea Handler, who are happy to write a new book for Chelsea to promote since she’s feeling too lazy to write one herself.

When I saw this on Taming The Bookshelf’s blog last week, I was super excited. Chelsea Handler’s previous book, CHELSEA CHELSEA BANG BANG recently made my top 10 books of 2010 list, so naturally, I’m thrilled about this one! And even more hilarious that it’s written from the perspective of her friends, family and co-workers (considering she does tell some pretty hilarious stories about them in her other books, now the tables have turned).

I know this one will definitely give me lots of laughs, so I cannot wait until May!

What are you anxiously waiting for this Wednesday?

    1. @Tara, No problem! I’m so glad you brought it to my attention. And YAY for Jen Lancaster! I love her and that same book was my WoW a few weeks ago! Will come check yours out later 🙂

  2. Despite hearing how funny and good her books are, I still have yet to read one. They are all on my TBR list though. I have to pick one up soon!

  3. I haven’t read her book but I love her show, she’s hilarious! I might have to pick it up and give it a try, but I’m not used to nonfiction.

  4. I absolutely love her books and this sounds like a great twist being told from the point of views of her family and friends. Definitely adding this one to the list, thanks for sharing!
