In My Mailbox (11)

In My Mailbox, started by Kristi from The Story Siren is an awesome weekly meme to post what books we’ve received this week; whether it was sent for review by a publisher, purchased at a book store, borrowed from the library, or won from a giveaway.

Kristi from The Story Siren  is actually on hiatus from linking up IMM posts until the new year, but I love this weekly meme and it helps me stay organized, so I’m going to continue to post the next few weeks! I’d still love to check out what you got this week, so if you post, be sure to leave your link in the comments!

From the library:

The Fidelity Files by Jessica Brody: This has been on my to be read list for some time now, but the last time I checked my library didn’t have it. Now it does! I really enjoyed The Karma Club by this same author, so I’m looking forward to reading this more adult book written by Brody about a woman who investigates cheaters for a living.

Love Under Cover by Jessica Brody: This one is the sequel to The Fidelity Files and also looks super cute. I love the simplicity of the cover.

From NetGalley:

The Lying Game by Sara Shepard: Oh man. You guys know how much I adored the Pretty Little Liars series, so I’m super excited to read this new book by the one and only Sara Shepard. This will be the first book I read on my new iPad!

What’s in your mailbox today?

  1. I’ve been wanting to read The Fidelity Files for months! (Maybe even a year? Dang.) I actually bought the sequel a while back from Strand, hoping to pick up the TFF from the library…but time passed and I never got around to it. I’m looking forward to your reading your thoughts on the books though 🙂

NetGalley’s gotten so popular now, like whoa. I feel like I’m in the minority for not embracing it…but whatevs. I NEED to read the pretty little liars series, especially since I am obsessed with the show! (EZRAAAAA!) I heard that 4 more books were getting added to the series; I’m not sure what else the author has planned because from what I know, the 8th book seems to wrap things up nicely o.O The Lying Game sounds awesome though, and I hope you enjoy it!

    1. @Sandy, Why won’t you embrace NetGalley? If you have an e-reader, it’s basically just a way to read some ARC’s and review them for both your site and NG. Easy peasy! 🙂

PLL is amazing! Ezra is definitely a cutie….I can’t imagine 4 more books getting added to the series. The books were pretty over as far as I was concerned when I finished. Who knows though…

      1. @Jessica Lawlor,

Honestly, I´m just not into e-books. But who knows, that may change in a year or two! For now, though, I´m all about the hardcovers and paperbacks. I just like having something tangible in my hands. (and my friend, who´s the same way, likes to joke that books have an infinite battery! lol)

Siiigh. Must read them. I don´t know if I´ll review them but I feel like I´d fly through that series. EZRA is SUCH a cutie in the series. Do you watch it?

        1. @Sandy, You know, I was not that into them either. I’m still not OBSESSED with mine. I actually really just use it at the gym; it’s my motivation to go to the gym because I only let myself read that book when I’m working out, so if I want to finish the book, I have to go to the gym.

I still read my hardcovers when I’m at home 🙂 Love them!

You really will fly through the series! Just dooooo it! Yes, I did watch the show and I LOVED IT! That’s what made me want to read the books!

          1. @Jessica Lawlor,

I can´t imagine working out and reading at the same time. I´d just end up finishing the book and forgoing all exercise, lol. You have some discipline! 😀

AUGH, I´m so excited for the show to come back. I LOVE EZRA–I mean, the characters! I wish I could steal Aria´s wardrobe, lol.

  2. Hi Jessica!

I’ve heard so many great things about the Fidelity files, but i havnet had time to pick it up. Lets see if I can do justice this holiday break 🙂 Happy reading!

p.s Thanks so much for stopping by my blog the other day. Im secretly hating on the fact that you got to live in Greece. You should post pictures 🙂 please!? Greece is such a beautiful country, I’d love to go back one day.

Well, keep up the good work!
    Diana

    1. @Diana, No problem, Diana! I can’t wait to read more of your blog! I actually didn’t live in Greece- just visited for 10 days, but I did live in Roma 🙂 My favorite country ever!
