Today, I’m participating in Booking Through Thursday!
Today’s question is: What’s the most informative book you’ve read recently?
Whew…when I saw this question I wasn’t sure I could answer it because I read mostly chick lit and YA novels, but I did just happen to finish See Jane Write: A Girl’s Guide to Writing Chick Lit by Sarah Mlynkowski and Farrin Jacobs.
This book was an AWESOME guide to writing your first chick lit novel written by a best-selling author and her editor. The book was funny, smart and extremely helpful all at the same time. It offered information about how to come up with an idea, how to force yourself to start writing and how to get your book published.
I’d definitely recommend this book to anyone considering writing a novel (more in-depth review of this book to come this weekend!)

Sounds like I should grab See Jane Write, too! 🙂 Sometimes how-to guides stress me out, but this one sounds really helpful. And goodness knows I could use the help!
I'm not sure what informative book I've read recently… like you, I read mostly YA and chick lit! If I had to pick, I'd go with Cathy Alter's Up For Renewal — I feel like I learned a lot about what magazines do (and don't) offer your self-esteem! 🙂
The most informative 'chick lit' I've ever read was How to Walk in High Heels. It was actually quite fun to read and useful too 🙂
Interesting. I look forward to your review.
I received a Kreative Blogger award today, I nominated you, too.
