Start your week right! Every Sunday I post my favorite links from around the web and share my goals for the upcoming week.

On Beauty:
What Happens When a Non-Makeup Wearer and a Makeup Diva Swap Routines: Super interesting experiment! Philly Mag staffers Emily Goulet and Rachel Chernaskey swapped places for the day: Rachel (who doesn’t normally wear makeup) sported a full face of makeup and Emily (who normally *does* wear makeup) came to work bare-faced. They set out to see who would notice…here’s what happened. (I personally think they both look gorgeous either way!)
On Dating & Relationships:
Why The Longer You’ve Been Single, The Better You’ll Be In A Relationship: As someone who has been single for a long time, I love Paul Hudson’s words: “The longer you’re single — the longer you pause to understand yourself and to create your life with your mind’s paintbrush — the more likely your next relationship will be the last one you’ll ever need.”
Why Throwing Away My Dating Rules Was The Best Decision I’ve Ever Made: You all know I’m not a fan of dating rules, so I especially love this Thought Catalog piece by Piper Penderhall. Who knows what will happen when you let go of your expectations?
On Work:
How to Enjoy Work (Even When You’re Busy + Kind of Overwhelmed): Sarah Von Bargen offers up tips for enjoying work, even if you feel totally busy and overwhelmed. Been there? Yeah, me too.
On Coloring:
Get a Free Mandala from Chime: Adult coloring is all the rage! My yoga mentor, Jennifer, just released her first opt-in- a free blank mandala coloring page- sign up, print it out, color and enjoy!
This Week on JessicaLawlor.com:
What It’s Like To Co-Write a Blog Post: Writing can be a solitary pursuit, but it doesn’t have to be. Here’s what it’s like to co-write a blog post with one of your good friends.
Goals
- Enjoy the holiday weekend with family and friends! SO beyond excited for my absolute favorite holiday of all time! Thanksgiving is the best. (And so is the tryptophan-induced coma after dinner!)
- Write my new yoga class flow and prepare my December playlist. I’m teaching an average of 3 times a week and loving it!
