One of my 2013 goals is to ramp up my freelancing/guest blogging, and I’m happy to report that I’m off to a pretty solid start! Over the past two weeks, my writing has been featured on three blogs I admire: Muck Rack, PR Daily and Your Super Awesome Life.

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I’m newly freelancing for the awesome website/blog for journalists and PR professionals, MuckRack.com. My latest post appeared last week on the site and I was super excited when I received an email that Ragan’s PR Daily wanted to re-publish my post on their site. I religiously read PR Daily every day at lunch to catch up on PR/social media news, so it was an honor to have my writing featured on such a respected and well-read site.

 Q: What does living a “super awesome life” look like for you?

A: Living a “super awesome life” to me means taking chances and doing things that force me out of my comfort zone in order to be more fulfilled. Whether that’s doing something small like hitting publish on a personal blog post or something big like training for and running a half marathon, I’m always seeking new ways to get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
