In My Mailbox (40)

In My Mailbox, started by Kristi from The Story Siren is an awesome weekly meme to post what books we’ve received this week; whether it was sent for review from a publisher, purchased at a book store, borrowed from the library, or won from a giveaway.

Just two books this week, but two books I’ve been LONG waiting for and REALLY excited about. I’m writing this post on Thursday because as you read this post, I’ll be in Pittsburgh for my cousin’s wedding (hopefully totally missing Hurricane Irene) and you KNOW I brought both of these books along for the ride.

From the library:

Twisted by Sara Shepard: I was a little unsure when I heard that Sara Shepard was writing anotherPRETTY LITTLE LIARS book, but I’m such a huge fan, there was never any doubt that I’d read it.

Purchased:

Epic Fail by Claire LaZebnik: I’m a huge Claire LaZebnik fan and I’m so excited to check out her YA debut.

What’s in your mailbox today?

  1. EPIC FAIL looks awesome and I’ve been meaning to catch up on the PLL series for such a long time 🙂 Are you enjoying both The Lying Game + PLL in tv form?

  2. Kelsey @ The Lost Book Reports

    Epic Fail looks SOOOO cute.
and I NEED to catch up on the PLL Series. I have only read the 1st four books and my library doesn’t carry the series = (

  3. I was like you..unsure about a new PLL book, but Twisted was crazy and definitely left me wanting to know what happens next.

I’m wanting Epic Fail badly, it looks so cute!

  4. Ohhh I hope the hurricane passed right around you! I was a little hesitant about Twisted too but I think I’ll give it a shot 🙂 Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

  5. I’ve heard really good things about Epic Fail, hope you enjoy! And I only read the first PLL book (or maybe the 2nd one, too, I can’t remember), but I did enjoy it, hope this newest book is just as good! Hope Irene passed you by!

  6. I’ve been hearing great things about Epic Fail. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it! And way to make it number 9 on the IMM list. Take about some good timing on your part!

  7. The cover for Epic Fail looks so cute. I’ll have to add it to my To Be Read list.

No new books for me this go around, but don’t worry, it’s not like I don’t already have a huge pile of books in my To Be Read List.
