In My Mailbox (33)

In My Mailbox, started by Kristi from The Story Siren is an awesome weekly meme to post what books we’ve received this week; whether it was sent for review from a publisher, purchased at a book store, borrowed from the library, or won from a giveaway.

Another fantastic week! Just a few books, but all books that I am super excited to read! I got a package in the mail that I was extremely excited about, plus a few great library books. I’m at the beach this weekend, so I’ve been busy reading some of the below titles. Hope everyone is having a great fourth of July weekend!

For review:

Little Black Dress by Susan McBride: Just a few weeks ago, I featured this lovely title in my Waiting On Wednesday post. Author Susan McBride reached out to me and was kind enough to send me this bound manuscript (how cool is that?!) to review. She also included a really sweet note. Can’t wait to read this title! I’m saving it for my vacation in August so that I can review it closer to its release date.

From the library:

Last Night at Chateau Marmont by Lauren Weisberger: I’m a huge Lauren Weisberger fan (fun fact: we are both members of the same sorority!) and I can’t believe I haven’t gotten around to reading this one yet.

Normal Gets You Nowhere by Kelly Cutrone: I ADORED Kelly’s first book IF YOU HAVE TO CRY GO OUTSIDE and I’m hoping that this book is just as good!

What’s in your mailbox today?

Ok, random but just after I read and posted my comment it reminded me that a) I need to add Little Black Dress to my wish list and b) to check my e-mail .. and the same thing happened to me, with a different author and book .. just thought I would share the weird and coincidental awesome-ness of that
