Waiting On Wednesday

Today, I’m participating in Waiting on Wednesday, a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine. This event highlights the upcoming releases that we are eagerly awaiting!

Today, I am waiting for…

Past Perfect by Leila Sales (October 4, 2011 by Simon Pulse)

I was SO excited on Sunday night when I received an email from Leila Sales with information about her upcoming novel AND an attachment revealing the cover! I absolutely loved MOSTLY GOOD GIRLS, and I’ve been eagerly waiting to learn more about her next book.

Check out this summary sent from Leila:

All Chelsea wants to do this summer is hang out with her best friend, hone her talents as an ice cream connoisseur, and finally get over Ezra, the boy who broke her heart. But when Chelsea shows up for her summer job at Essex Historical Colonial Village (yes, really), it turns out Ezra’s working there too. Which makes moving on and forgetting Ezra a lot more complicated…even when Chelsea starts falling for someone new.

Maybe Chelsea should have known better than to think that a historical reenactment village could help her escape her past. But with Ezra all too present, and her new crush seeming all too off limits, all Chelsea knows is that she’s got a lot to figure out about love. Because those who don’t learn from the past are doomed to repeat it….

This sounds like it’s going to be just as awesome as MOSTLY GOOD GIRLS. It seems like it’s going to be very interesting, taking place at a historical reenactment village; definitely something I’ve never seen in a book before!

And the cover is super cute, as well. God, I’m such a sucker for a cute cover.

What are you anxiously waiting for this Wednesday?

  1. I’m really looking forward to this one as well. Mostly Good Girl was epic, in my opinion, and I’m hoping this will be the same. And the cover is adorable!
