Waiting on Wednesday

Today, I’m participating in Waiting on Wednesday, a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine. This event highlights the upcoming releases that we are eagerly awaiting!

Today, I am waiting for…

So Much Closer by Susane Colasanti (May 3, 2011 by Viking Childrens Books)

Oh man, I am a HUGE Colasanti fan and I can’t believe I didn’t highlight how excited I am for this one sooner! I swore I did, but when I looked through my WoW’s, I saw that I didn’t!

I really like this cover…one of my favorite things about the covers of Colasanti’s books are that they are usually pretty realistic of what the story is going to be about. I can definitely see that in this one too.

Check out this Goodreads summary:

Scott Abrams is the love of Brooke’s life. He just doesn’t know it yet. So when his family moves to New York City the summer before senior year, Brooke has no choice but to follow Scott. It’s her last chance to prove to him that they’re meant to be together.

What will Brooke do when her biggest dream finally comes true, but instead she wants something more?

Sounds SO good. I love Colasanti’s style of writing- and I especially love the way she tells stories about relationships. I have a feeling this one will be no different.

What are you anxiously waiting for this Wednesday?

  1. I’ve never read anything by Colasanti before , I do have one of her books on my TBR pile I need to get to it soon. I heard they’re really good. Great pick!

  2. Can’t wait to read this one, too! You definitely got me hooked on Colasanti. I actually won a copy of this one from LibraryThing’s Early Reviewers program, and I’m trying to save it to read closer to the May release . . . but I just might have to cheat and read it early!

    1. @Meg, OMG- You already HAVE this book! Jealous! I’m working on trying to get a copy because of my obsession with these books! You’ll have to fill me in on LibraryThing..I’ve never used it.
