Today, I am waiting for…

The Summer of Firsts and Lasts by Terra Elan McVoy (May 1, 2011)

Just in time for summer! How cute is that cover? It pretty much screams “Summer!” and “Read me on the beach!”

Check out this Amazon synopsis:

Three sisters. One life-changing summer.Calla loves summer because summer means Duncan. They’ve been best friends for years, but Calla has never worked up the nerve to tell him how she really feels. This summer, the summer before college, is Calla’s last chance.

Violet isn’t much of a rule breaker in real life. But this isn’t real life, this is summer, and Violet is determined to make the most of it. Besides, a little sneaking out never hurt anyone. And sneaking out with James is 100% worth the risk…even though James is completely off-limits.

Daisy has never been the sister that boys notice, but when sparks fly with Joel at the first bonfire of summer, it seems so easy and right. So why is being his girlfriend so complicated?

I’m a sucker for books about sisters- and love! This book seems to have all of the elements of the perfect summer read. I’m definitely excited for this one!

Thanks so much to Lauren’s Crammed Bookshelf for featuring this last week and bringing it to my attention!

What are you anxiously waiting for this Wednesday?

  1. I’m all about sister books, too, and am pretty much in love with that cover! It features two of the things I love most: pink and ice cream. YAY! Adding it to my wishlist, too!
