In My Mailbox (10)

In My Mailbox, started by Kristi from The Story Siren is an awesome weekly meme to post what books we’ve received this week; whether it was sent for review by a publisher, purchased at a book store, borrowed from the library, or won from a giveaway.

I’m so excited about my books this week! One came from the incredible NetGalley, which I only discovered this week (after seeing all of the amazing books you guys have been receiving from the site through IMM), another came from my library and I was sent a book for review.

From NetGalley:

Populazzi by Elise Allen: This is the first book I requested on NetGalley. I was super excited when I got my email approval and I can’t wait to get reading (although I’m trying very hard to wait until 2011 so I can count it towards the Debut Author Challenge).

For Review:

Will Work For Prom Dress by Aimee Ferris: I love the title and the cover of this one. Sounds like a super cute read!

From the library:

Dramarama by E. Lockhart: I love E. Lockhart and had no idea this book even existed until I saw it on a blog last week! The description kind of sounds like Glee, but in book form, so I’m definitely looking forward to this one!

What’s in your mailbox today?

  1. Great books! I LOVED Dramarama, and I really want to read Will Work For Prom Dress and Populazzi- they look really cute! Hope you enjoy them 🙂

  2. I love E. Lockhart’s Ruby series. I can’t wait for the next installment that comes out in January! I read Dramarama but I didn’t like it as much… I hope you enjoy it more than I did. xD

Oooh, those other two look good! Will Work For Prom Dress sounds cute 😉

  3. Of course, huge thanks for downloading Populazzi, but I also wanted to thank you for putting Dramarama on my radar! Just read the synopsis on Amazon (thru your link), and it looks fabulous — adding it to my must read list!

  4. I just got my husband an iPad and I wanted to look into using NetGalley with it. Populazzi looks cute!

I just heard about Dramarama this part weekend…someone recommended I should read it, since my WIP takes place in a hs theater. I’ll have to check it out, too.

    1. @Christi Aldellizzi, Oh no about Dramarama! I’ll be reading it sometime soon, so I guess I’ll find out!

And yes, NetGalley is super awesome. I’m so glad I can use it now that I have an iPad 🙂

  5. Populazzi looks really good! And Will Work for Prom Dress looks like a fun read 🙂
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Happy reading 😀

  6. I didn’t realize Populazzi was on NetGalley…I need to log back in and check out what’s been added! Glad you discovered NetGalley 🙂
