It’s Monday, What are you Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at One Person’s Journey Through A World Of Books to discuss what we are reading this week, as well as books completed the previous week.
After a strong start to the month, I am sad to say I didn’t have a great reading week at all. I started a few different books and couldn’t really get into any of them. BUT, I also had an awesome week traveling to NYC for work and I even got to see Elf on Broadway, which was SO. COOL.
Anyway, hoping for a better reading week this week!

Great Gals: Inspired Ideas for Living a Kick Ass Life by Summer Pierre: Get excited for a giveaway for this one! This journal/book seems super inspiring!
Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah: Didn’t make it to this one last week, but planning on getting to it this week especially after all of you raving about it last week!
Ask Again Later by Jill A. Davis: I picked this up at a book sale and started it this week. It’s kind of sad so far, but it’s written in a pretty unique prose-y kind of way.

I had a very slow week the week before last, I think it happens to us all. Hope this week you have some great reads.

Hope you get some reading done this week. I read Firefly lane a year ago I think. It was a good read, I didn’t enjoy it though as much as I have enjoyed other of her books.

How did you not complete any books this week!? At least you got to see Elf on Broadway :). I just finished Mojo by Kris Sedersten. I was interested in the book because I used to go ghost hunting on Southern Civil War battlefields in high school. I saw and heard tons of creepy things. Mojo captures a lot of that excitement that I felt back then. So check it out and prepare for a descriptive, scenic tour through a haunted plantation deep in the Louisiana countryside.
