Start Your Week Right Sunday: Links and Goals

start your week right- Jessica Lawlor
Photo of the week: Another pinch myself moment! Spent last Monday with my client Crossing Vineyards and Winery (check out that view!) for a media segment taping with 6ABC’s FYI Philly show.

Start your week right! Every Sunday I post my favorite links from around the web and share my goals for the upcoming week.

Links

On Solopreneurship:

Say Yes Podcast: Making Your Side Hustle Your Main Hustle: Thanks to Laura Yamin for having me back on the Say Yes Podcast, this time to chat about how I turned my side hustle into my full time job. It’s a quick interview- give it a listen!

Quitting Your Job to Pursue Your Passion is Bullshit: The only thing I know for sure since quitting my job to take my business full time is that it is truly a roller coaster. I don’t agree with every point Janelle Quibuyen makes in this post, but some things are definitely valid and this is worth a read.

On Transition:

Beautiful Transition: YES. “Think of your phone as a little vision board. You create your own reality and the life you lead is very much based on the level of vibration you reside in.” Love this encouragement from Rachel Brathen to unfollow, delete and unsubscribe from what doesn’t serve you.

On Tech:

How Mark Zuckerberg Led Facebook’s War to Crush Google+: A fascinating read by Antonio García Martínez about the culture at Facebook and the “lockdown” that ensued when Google+ was announced.

On Yoga:

Crash: I love my bestie Julia Paddison’s message to embrace the process, stop trying to quit the struggle and the reminder that “sometimes you just have to let the train crash.”

On Life:

What Is Meant For Me Is Already Mine: My friend Stephany shares one of my absolute favorite quotes and what it means to her. So beautiful. “My heart is at ease knowing that what was meant for me will never miss me, and that what misses me was never meant for me.”

This Week on JessicaLawlor.com:

I Meditated For 50 Days Straight. Here’s What Happened: I’ve meditated for 50 days straight. Here’s what happened since I developed this new habit and why you should start a daily meditation practice of your own.

Monthly Check-In: Goodbye May, Hello June: Each monthly check-in, I share three things I accomplished in the previous month and preview three things I’m excited for in the month ahead.

Goals

  • Get back on track with running this week- I have a 5K on Tuesday evening, so that should help!
  • Spend time in the beginning of the week planning for the week ahead. The holiday last week took me out of my normal routine and I spent the week feeling like I was constantly playing catch-up.
