start your week right- Jessica Lawlor
Photo of the week: My alma mater is cooler than yours! Temple University held Diner en Cherry, a pop-up dinner party at a secret location until minutes before it began last night. Dress code: cherry and white, of course!

Start your week right! Every Sunday I post my favorite links from around the web and share my goals for the upcoming week.

On Blogging:

The Ultimate Guide to Blog Post Ideas: You’re going to want to save this post somewhere easily accessible. Lisa Butler from Elembee’s got your ultimate guide to blog post ideas for when you need a little inspiration.

On Authenticity:

Notes on Authenticity: “This is not a dream life; it’s just a life…I guess all I’m trying to say is that romanticizing and idealizing my life (or any other slice of the internet) isn’t going to improve yours: only you can do that, because only you know what what your behind-the-scenes looks like compared to the highlight reel.” I can totally relate to Christine from C’est Christine’s post on what it means to live authentically online.

On Letting Go:

If You Want To Be Light, You Have To Let Go: What are you holding onto? This post about feeling light and letting go by Courtney Carver came to me at the perfect time. I hope the words resonate with you, too.

3 Ways to Start Letting Go of Anxiety: Continuing on the topic of letting go, I loved Nathalie Theodore’s take on letting go of anxiety for the Do You Yoga blog.

On Self-Publishing:

Self-Publishing: Should You Sell Your Ebook on Amazon or Your Own Website?: If you’ve ever wondered if you should self-publish on your own website or use Amazon, Alexis Grant breaks it down in this comprehensive and useful post.

This Week on Jessica Lawlor.com:

If We Were Having Coffee Right Now….: Let’s go on a coffee date! If we were having coffee right now, here’s what I’d tell you. (What would you tell me?!)

Goals

  • Complete my flow for my first yoga class! Ah! It’s mostly written, I just need to add in cues and get it to where I want it before I submit it to my teacher for review. Heads up for anyone coming to my first class in June: I hope you love chair pose and twisting! 🙂
  • Finish up my two freelance magazine articles- they are due next week!
