In My Mailbox (51)

In My Mailbox, startedby Kristi from The Story Siren is an awesome weekly meme to post what books we’ve received this week; whether it was sent for review from a publisher, purchased at a book store, borrowed from the library, or won from a giveaway.

I’ve been a very bad blogger lately…I most definitely would be on Santa’s naughty book blogger list. BUT, I have a few very good reasons that I’ve been MIA. You’ll have to watch the vlog below to find out why AND to meet a very special new addition to our family. I think you’re going to like him. Oh, and I think you’re going to LOVE the books I have to share this week.

From Tara:

Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver

For review:

Best Friends, Occasional Enemies by Lisa Scottoline and Francesca Serritella audiobook

From NetGalley:

Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally.

  1. I can’t wait to read Catching Jordan – it’s one of the first books I’ll be reading upon arriving home. Enjoy your books 🙂

  2. PANDEMONIUM! I got that this week, too! We should read it at the same time and share thoughts! 😀

And ooooh, you are going to LOVE Catching Jordan. It’s made of win!

  3. Each of those sounds good! Of course I’m really wanting Pandemonium…I’m hoping it’ll show up. I’m supposed to be getting it. *fingers crossed*

    Thanks for stopping by mine!

  4. I love Lauren Oliver. Brilliant writer. Can’t wait to read Pandemonium and hear your thoughts on it! Hope it’s as good as Delirium. I heard there was a new love interest in this one:)

    My IMM

    1. @Jenna @ Fans of Fiction, I’m only about 100 pages in but I’m not loving it as much as the first one! Lauren Oliver is an incredible writer, so the writing is beautiful, but the story itself isn’t hooking me like DELIRIUM did.

    1. @Kari, Thanks so much, Kari! It’s been an exciting month, to say the least. I’m so happy I took this next step in my career 🙂 And of course, I love the pup!

  5. Catching Jordan is amazing and you will fall in love with both the books and the characters! At least, I hope you do!

Great IMM and enjoy all your books from the last few weeks.

    Happy reading and Happy Holidays!

  6. @Jessica Lawlor,
Oh no! I haven’t yet, but I will soon. It took me around 100 pages before I fell in love with Delirium, so maybe Pandemonium will be the same way? It’s Lauren Oliver so at least you know you’ll inhale the last 100 pages. 🙂
