2. I am SO happy it’s the weekend! And a long, holiday weekend at that. This weekend, I’m going down the shore where I plan to relax, soak up the sun and read a ton. I’ve already packed my books…four books and my iPad, which is of course, filled with e-books (but too hard to read on the beach). It’s kind of a bummer that the 4th is on Sunday…that means we will watch the fireworks at the beach and then scurry home to be back for work on Monday. No fun!
3. My favorite author Jennifer Weiner is coming to Philly for a book signing and to promote her latest novel THEN CAME YOU on July 13. I am DEFINITELY going…anyone want to join me? Jennifer is on fire lately! Besides her successful books, she wrote and produced a show that aired on ABC Family on Wednesday night called State of Georgia. Did anyone catch it? It was pretty funny…I’ll probably keep tuning in.
4. I’m back in my reading and blogging groove. And it feels so good! I love reading amazing books and being so excited to share my thoughts with all of you. Something about the beautiful sunny, summer weather has me feeling inspired.
5. UM, since when did 2011 decide it was halfway over?! I can’t believe it’s already JULY! Stay tuned tomorrow for a 2011 goal check-in…time to check on my progress since 2011 began.

I find it scary that it’s already July–I kept turning to my friends and my mother saying, “REALLY? It’s JULY now?” o_O Didn’t we JUST start June yesterday? It feels like it! Ooh, yay for author signings! I haven’t gone to one in a while 🙁 I hope you have fun at yours, though. 🙂 As for the weekend, I don’t have any major plans except for going to my friend’s going away to college/birthday party (her b-day’s July 4th). And then the weekday… I have to prep for a job interview on Tuesday. I’m nervous and excited since it’s my first interview ever x)

@Jessica Lawlor, Thank you! There’s a job opening for a medical receptionist at a pediatric center. They need someone bilingual so I figured, why not try? 🙂
