Waiting On Wednesday

Today, I’m participating in Waiting on Wednesday, a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine. This event highlights the upcoming releases that we are eagerly awaiting!

Today, I am waiting for…

Crossed by Ally Condie (November 1, 2011 by Dutton Juvenile)

After recently reading and loving MATCHED by Ally Condie, I was SUPER excited when the cover for the second book in this trilogy was released last week.

Check out this Goodreads summary:

In search of a future that may not exist and faced with the decision of who to share it with, Cassia journeys to the Outer Provinces in pursuit of Ky “” taken by the Society to his certain death “” only to find that he has escaped, leaving a series of clues in his wake.

Cassia’s quest leads her to question much of what she holds dear, even as she finds glimmers of a different life across the border. But as Cassia nears resolve and certainty about her future with Ky, an invitation for rebellion, an unexpected betrayal, and a surprise visit from Xander “” who may hold the key to the uprising and, still, to Cassia’s heart “” change the game once again. Nothing is as expected on the edge of Society, where crosses and double crosses make the path more twisted than ever.

Ohhhh myyyyy gooooodness! How on earth am I going to wait until November?! One of my favorite parts of MATCHED was the fact that I was torn between Xander and Ky, and it doesn’t seem like my (or Cassia’s) decision is going to get any easier in this next installment.

What are you anxiously waiting for this Wednesday?

  1. I wasn’t a big fan of Matched but I am kind of curious of what might happen in Crossed so I’m definitely going to read it. Great pick! =)
