Today, I’m participating in Waiting on Wednesday, a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine. This event highlights the upcoming releases that we are eagerly awaiting!
Today, I am waiting for…
The Sweetest Thing by Christina Mandelski (May 10, 2011 by EgmontUSA)
Oh my goodness. When I saw this book as I was browsing Goodreads last week, I knew just by glancing at the cover that this is definitely a book I’ll want to get my hands on. Look at those deliciously colorful sprinkles! Love it.
Check out this GoodReads summary:
Christina Mandelski’s debut novel, about a young teen juggling first love, a cake-decorating business, her dad’s reality TV show, and a search for her missing mother.
Sounds so fun and multi-dimensional. It seems like there are a few different conflicts in this book, which I think will keep the book interesting and exciting.
What are you anxiously waiting for this Wednesday?
Oh, what a refreshing change from some of the books out there right now…it sounds delectable! LOL

This was my pick last week. They had me at SPRINKLES. 😉
I’m excited about this one too. It’s on my debut author’s challenge.
Oh, I’m all over this one! Any food-centric books immediately get my attention.
@Meg, The cover is seriously beautifully delicious!
I hope when you get your book, you enjoy it. Wanna see what I am Waiting On Wednesday for?
I looove this cover too! So cute!
Great choice, I can’t wait for this one either. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
This looks like a fun book! I’m always surprised at how much I like books that have something to do with food! Sarah Addison Allen is an author who seems to incorporate it in every one of her books – I’m always dying to try out new recipes after! I’m going to have to look into this one some more!
@Liz @ My Adventures in Reading, Thanks so much for the recommendation! 🙂 I love books with food!
What a wonderful looking cover! Sounds like a great book. I’m always looking for something new and different to read. I’m your newest follower. Drop by my blog and say hi and see what I’m waiting for.
When you are in uncomfortable position and have got no cash to get out from that, you will have to take the credit loans. Because that would help you unquestionably. I get consolidation loans every time I need and feel myself OK just because of that.
