Waiting on Wednesday

Today, I’m participating in Waiting on Wednesday, a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine. This event highlights the upcoming releases that we are eagerly awaiting!

Today, I am waiting for…

Fixing Delilah by Sarah Ockler (December1, 2010)

Finally, a book that I’m excited for that I don’t have to wait months and months for because this one comes out in just a few short weeks!

Check out this Amazon synopsis:

Things in Delilah Hannaford’s life have a tendency to fall apart.

She used to be a good student, but she can’t seem to keep it together anymore. Her “boyfriend” isn’t much of a boyfriend. And her mother refuses to discuss the fight that divided their family eight years ago. Falling apart, it seems, is a Hannaford tradition.

Over a summer of new friendships, unexpected romance, and moments that test the complex bonds between mothers and daughters, Delilah must face her family’s painful past. Can even her most shattered relationships be pieced together again?

Rich with emotion, Sarah Ockler delivers a powerful story of family, love, and self-discovery.

Sounds so good! And, I love the title and the cover. I’ve seen this one all over the blogosphere lately. Lots of bloggers have received ARC’s and I can’t wait to get my hands on my very own copy.

Thanks to Books Obsession for reminding me of this awesome read in her WoW last week!

What are you anxiously waiting for this Wednesday?

  1. Hi Jessica,

Thanks so much for including Fixing Delilah in your WoW post! I hope you enjoy it! BTW, it’s *not* a sequel to Twenty Boy Summer, so you’re safe. 😉
