Waiting On Wednesday

Today, I’m participating in Waiting on Wednesday, a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine. This event highlights the upcoming releases that we are eagerly awaiting!

Today, I am waiting for…

Between Here and Forever by Elizabeth Scott (May 24, 2011)

I saw this one last week on YA Bliss and I couldn’t help but immediately get excited! This one is far off (May 2011) but I’m sure it will be here before we know it. Look at that beautiful cover? It just screams “SPRING!” I absolutely love it.

The only description we get so far is…

A romantic but dark coming-of-age teen novel by the author of Perfect You and Living Dead Girl.

Definitely intriguing and has my attention…

I’ve read two other Elizabeth Scott books before and I had somewhat mixed reactions, but I just feel like this one is different; more special somehow. For starters, we all know I judge books by the cover and I’d pick up this book based on cover alone. Pair it with a unique title and a mysterious description and I’m in.

What are you anxiously waiting for this Wednesday?

  1. Love that cover and it’s such a contrast to the description of a “dark” coming-of-age story. Thanks for the recommend. I’ll be checking it out because I want to know what they mean by this. Nice pick!

  2. The cover of this looks really interesting- you’re right it does scream SPRING. I really love Elizabeth Scott’s works so I can’t wait for this one. Thank you for letting me know about this one.

    1. No problem 🙂 I completely agree on all accounts…we’ll have to compare notes when it finally comes out!

  3. I asked for two Elizabeth Scott novels for Christmas last year and still haven’t gotten around to reading them! Bad Meg. This one sounds interesting, too!

    1. I haven’t LOVED either of her books; but I liked one a whole lot more than the other and this one sounds way different. I’m hoping it’s great!
