Waiting On Wednesday

Today, I’m participating in Waiting on Wednesday, a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine. This event highlights the upcoming releases that we are eagerly awaiting!

Today, I am waiting for…

Sugar and Spice by Lauren Conrad (October 5, 2010)

I was pleasantly surprised when I really enjoyed Lauren Conrad’s first novel LA Candy last fall. I eagerly waited for the second book in the three-book series to come out, but was a little disappointed in the second installment. Now, I’m ready for this third and final book. I have confidence that the things I loved in the first book will come out as Conrad finds a way to wrap up Jane’s story.

Check out a snippet of this synopsis from Amazon:

Fresh from being betrayed by one of her closest friends, new reality-television celebrity Jane Roberts has learned a few lessons. Most important: know who to trust. And in Hollywood, that list is short…Just when everything feels out of control, Jane makes a shocking discovery””one that changes everyone’s definition of “reality” forever. In her deliciously entertaining novel, television star Lauren Conrad pulls back the curtain on young Hollywood and shows that sometimes the real drama is behind the scenes.

Luckily, the book is coming out very soon, so I won’t have to wait long!

What are you anxiously waiting for this Wednesday?

    1. Yes! The first one is actually REALLY good and the second one is just meh. We’ll see about this one!

    1. I wasn’t expecting it at all either (even though I totally love Lauren Conrad- no disrespect to her!) but you will seriously be pleasantly surprised!

  1. I still have to read L.A. Candy! It’s in a little pile of books that my friend gave me to read 🙂 So I’m working on it. I hope you enjoy the 3rd one!
