It’s Monday, What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday, What are you Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at One Person’s Journey Through A World Of Books to discuss what we are reading this week, as well as books completed the previous week.

Books I Completed Last Week:

None…not a good week for me at all. I had a death in my family so I was a little busy and unfortunately didn’t get any reading done.

Books I’m Reading This Week:

Conversations with the Fat Girl by Liza Palmer: Still haven’t finished this one. I’m not completely into it yet, but I’ve heard great things so I need to keep giving it a chance.

I’m So Happy For You by Lucinda Rosenfeld: I can’t remember what blog I saw this on, but someone let me know that this is a great book about friendship. Can’t wait to find out for myself!

So, what are you reading this week?

  1. I just started reading "Summer at Tiffany" by Marjorie Hart last night and I already blew through the first 100 pages. It's a memoir about two girls who leave their Kappa house at UofIowa to find jobs as shopgirls in Manhattan and flirt with the "midshipmen" along the way. It's set in 1945 and has a great mix of sorority life, realizing big-city dreams and, of course, Tiffany.

I think you would really like it, Jess. And you would probably be able to finish it in a night. Very easy, breezy reading.
