Book Blogger Appreciation Week

Welcome to Book Blogger Appreciation Week (BBAW), a week-long celebration dedicated to book bloggers everywhere.

Is this your first time on Cover to Cover? Welcome! My name is Jessica and I’m a healthcare PR professional, as well as an avid reader and writer. I’ve been blogging here at Cover to Cover for over a year now, sharing book reviews, interviewing authors, and chronicling my journey to writing my first novel.

Onto today’s BBAW prompt: “We invite you to share with us about a great new book blog you’ve discovered since BBAW last year! If you are new to BBAW or book blogging, share with us the very first book blog you discovered. Tell us why this blog rocks your socks off and why you keep going back for more.”

Oh man; I’ve discovered SO many new blogs since BBAW last year, but when I read this prompt, TWO blogs truly stuck out in my mind (and it’s funny because I know these ladies are actually good friends, too!)

Forever Young: A YA Lit Blog
: Jessica is a reader, a writer and a high school English teacher. I love her take on book reviews; she doesn’t “review” books. She merely shares her opinions on her latest readers; she doesn’t even use a rating system. Definitely unique in this world of book blogging. Jessica is also writing her first novel and shares her experiences in writing, as well. One of my favorite features on Jessica’s blog are her Saturday Link Parties, where she shares awesome links about books, writing and different contests around the blogosphere.

See Heather Write: Heather’s blog is another one that I absolutely never want to miss a post. Heather blogs a lot about writing, different writing conferences and books she loves. I’m a sucker for those link posts and Heather does not disappoint with her Sunday Funday’s where she posts helpful links about publishing, writing and more.

What blogs are you showing love for this past year in honor of BBAW?

  1. Wow! Thanks so much for the love!! It's so nice to hear all those wonderful things said 🙂 And Jess's YA book blog is awesome! (And I'm not just saying that because she herself is awesome.)
