Waiting On Wednesday

Today, I’m participating in Waiting on Wednesday, a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine. This event highlights the upcoming releases that we are eagerly awaiting!

Today, I am waiting for…

Sliding into Home by Kendra Wilkinson (July 6, 2010)

It’s funny that I’m “waiting on” this book since it actually came out yesterday, but since I haven’t got my hands on it yet, I’m still anxiously waiting.

Okay, first things first. I used to be a huge fan of the E! TV show Girls Next Door and then I continued to follow Kendra Wilkinson’s life on her new show Kendra. I learned she was writing a book during an episode of her show where she was working on a chapter and I knew I had to read it.

I just watched an interview with Kendra and it pretty much seems like this book is a tell-all about her life (especially at the Playboy Mansion). I am definitely interested in hearing how all of that went down. If you were a fan of the show, I think you’ll definitely want to pick up this book.

I’ll be honest; the title of this book is lame and the cover is less than exciting, but I’m still excited to read it.

What are you anxiously waiting for this Wednesday?

  1. Like you I have books I am waiting to buy. This sounds interesting. Hope you get it soon and enjoy it!

  2. I was a huge fan of the show and I can't wait to read this book. I was actually just reading online last night about her sex tape being leaked. How awful. Great pick!

  3. Haha, I agree — the title and cover are unbelievably cheesy! I never watched the show or paid much attention to Kendra, but I'll look forward to an amusing review someday! 🙂

  4. Lol, I've always loved The Girls Next Door so I'm going to have to buy this book. I also see that you're reading Perfect You (which is one of my favorites) so I hope you enjoy it!
