Over the past year that I’ve had this blog, I’ve found so many new great blogs to read. It started out with me finding wonderful book blogs filled with book reviews, author interviews, giveaways and more. Then, I found myself clicking around great blogs about the writing process and the publishing industry. These blogs have inspire me to keep my dream of writing and being published in focus.
Each weekend, either on Saturday or Sunday, I’m going to highlight two of these blogs! Please feel free to share suggestions with me of other great publishing and writing focused blogs to highlight.
First up today is The Traveling Writer.
This blog is written by Alexis Grant, who just landed a literary agent! Alexis’s book is a memoir about her travel experiences. She often writes posts about her experiences writing, the querying process, memoir writing tips and advice on how to become a better blogger. Keep an eye out for a Q and A with Alexis on this blog coming up this summer!
Next up today is BookEnds, LLC.
The women at BookEnds, LLC, a literary agency based in NJ blog about the entire process of getting a literary agent. My favorite part of this blog is that readers send in questions about the process and Jessica, an agent at BookEnds answered the questions quite often with very informative responses. Very helpful for those who wish to get published someday!
