Double Book Review: Flawless and Perfect by Sara Shepard

Flawless
Author: Sara Shepard
ISBN: 9780060887353

Flawless by Sara Shepard is the second book in the very intriguing Pretty Little Liars series.

In this second book, more and more secrets about our favorite foursome Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer are revealed. And A doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, anytime soon. We get a closer look into each girls life and their individual secrets that are haunting them.

We also learn more about Toby, Jenna’s stepbrother who took the fall for the Jenna accident. We see Toby as a regular guy and even sort of like him, as he courts Emily.

Perfect

The third book in the Pretty Little Liars series, Perfect, was my favorite of the series to date. I absolutely could not put this one down and read it in almost a day.

In this third installment, we see even more action than in the first and second books. The first book sort of laid the foundation for the story, whereas the second book took us deeper into each girl’s personality. Now that we’re all up to speed, this third book takes us on a serious adventure full of secrets, lies and turmoil.

I don’t want to spoil anything, but the end of this book is incredible. What a cliffhanger.

5/5

It’s extremely hard to review this series on a blog without giving away a ton of spoilers, so I apologize for the short reviews. I decided to write these two reviews together because I read them in the span of the same weekend, so it sort of felt like one continuous story rather than two seperate books.

I’ll tell you this: If you enjoyed the first book (or if you’re enjoying the TV show) this series just keeps getting better and better. I’m sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for my library to send me the next book in the series. If you’re a young adult fan, this is a book absolutely not to be missed!

  1. POSSIBLE SPOILER
At the end of Perfect, ****** gets hurt, right? I can't exactly remember what happens in what book, but if that's how it ends, then I agree!

Glad you're enjoying the series so far! 😀
