April Wrap-Up

Another month down. Apologies again for neglecting the blog a bit these past couple of months. April was a slow month since I spent most of time job searching. Graduation is in a week! Can’t wait until the summer when I know I’ll get more reading done!

Books Read:

Scandal by Kate Brian

If You Have To Cry, Go Outside by Kelly Cutrone

Supergirls Speak Out by Liz Funk

Something Like Fate by Susane Colasanti

Girl Stays In The Picture by Melissa de la Cruz

Princess in Love by Meg Cabot

My favorite book this month? Definitely If You Have To Cry, Go Outside by Kelly Cutrone. Cutrone is so real and tells it like it is. This book definitely gave me a glimpse into the world of fashion PR and women in power.

On The Blog:

-In the month of April, I gained 6 new Blogger followers and 5 new Google subscribers.

-I read 6 books and reviewed 2 books.

-I posted my first ever author interview with Susane Colasanti!

-Finished up my creative writing class and turned in my final portfolio with a 13 page manuscript (beginning of the novel)

This month I hope to:

-Read at least 9 books.

-Catch up on all the reviews I have yet to post.

-Post another author interview.

-Share more of my experiences from my creative writing class.

How was April for you? What are you up to this month? Any new goals?

  1. Congrats on your grad!! How exciting! I'm excited for summer too, I'm so ready for classes to be over already!

April seemed like a good month for you 🙂 I did pretty well myself. Read 9 books, hoping to read 10 this month!

  2. I can't believe your able to read as much as you do. Back when I was in college I barely had the time to read during the semester, and instead would read as much as possible over my breaks.

  3. I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

  4. Congratulations on your graduation!

I've been seeing the Kelly Cutrone book around but not hearing much so I wasn't sure about it. I knew she was in fashion but didn't realize it was PR. Having a PR background, I may have to go check it out.
