Top 9 Books Of 2009

With 2009 coming to a close tonight, I decided to look over the books I read in 2009 and list my absolute favorites from the year.

I’d say I had a successful year of reading…I didn’t quite reach my goal of 75 books (I read 60). I’m quite proud though because I barely did any reading during the spring semester and read 54 books from the time I started this blog in August until now. Success.

Without further ado, my top 9 books of 2009…

9. When It Happens by Susane Colasanti- Review Here

8. Privilege by Kate Brian- Review Here

7. Private by Kate Brian- Review Here

6. Second Helpings by Megan McCafferty- Review Here

5. LA Candy by Lauren Conrad- Review Here

4. Knitting Under The Influence by Claire LaZebnik- Review Here

3. Good In Bed by Jennifer Weiner

2. Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella

1. Hollywood Is Like High School With Money by Zoey Dean- Review Here

What books would you add to your top 9 of 2009 list?

  1. Yay for Twenties Girl! I have yet to read LA Candy and The Privilege books so I'm excited about that since you claim they're so good! Tempted to read the Zoey Dean book too, but the cover is putting me off, plus I wasn't to keen of Dean's previous books (How to Teach Filthy Rich Girls) so I don't know …

    Anyway, happy new year! 🙂

  2. I loved Twenties Girl too!! Now I need to add these to my "Must Read" list which has been gathering dust for a while because I thought I'd get a stack of books for Christmas.

I really need to get organized and moving for this next year. My life (and really, my closet and bookshelves) are a mess!!

  3. I haven't read any of these books, but I got a couple of them for Christmas and I REALLY want to get Twenties Girl. I love, love, love Sophie Kinsella!

  4. Yay! I have several of your top books in my TBR stack, including Twenties Girl, and all I need is about a year of straight reading to get through them all 🙂 hehe

  5. Twenties Girl was one of my favourites of 2009 as well 🙂

Good in Bed has been on my to-read list for far to long. I think I'll need to read that one this year.
