Holiday Break Reads

As of today, my fall semester is officially over. This semester was especially difficult, but I’m proud that I was able to continue blogging and writing.

Now that it’s winter break and I have a whole entire month free, I have several goals and plans for this blog.

Books I’d like to read over winter break:

Perfect Mistake by Kate Brian
Nanny Returns by Emma McLaughlin and Nicole Kraus
Writing Great Books for Young Adults by Regina Brooks
Knitting Under The Influence by Claire LaZebnik
The Treasure Map Of Boys by E. Lockhart
Perfect You by Elizabeth Scott
Japan Took The J.A.P. Out Of Me by Lisa Cook
Up For Renewal by Cathy Alter
After You by Julie Buxbaum
Love Walked In by Marissa de los Santos

…and more. Any suggestions?

I’d also like to:

-Continue writing the novel I started during NaNoWriMo
-Find new great blogs to read…any suggestions?
-Join a few challenges for the new year
-Find some freelance writing assignments for over winter break

Do you have time off during the holidays? What are your reading and blogging goals during that time?

  1. I have nothing on my reading list. I made a reading list a few weeks ago (using your blog, of course) and I hope I get a bunch of them for Xmas…. we shall see.

  2. I'm totally with you on the freelance writing thing! Also, I need to work on my novel as well but I'm queen of procrastination so I don't see much happening. =)
I would definitely suggest Prophecy of the Sisters by Michelle Zink if you haven't read it yet.

Good luck with your list! =)
