San Diego, Public Relations and Meeting Book Bloggers

What a fantastic long weekend!

I went to San Diego for the PRSSA National Conference. I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned it on this blog before, since I mostly post about books and writing, but my other passion is public relations. I’m currently the president of my school’s PRSSA chapter, so I was given the opportunity to travel to San Diego for a 4 day conference.

First of all, let me just say that San Diego is a BEAUTIFUL city. I had the opportunity to go to the zoo, eat in the Gaslamp District and walk around Seaport Village. The weather was gorgeous and I had a great time.

No worries, I’ll be back to my regularly scheduled book/writing blogging tomorrow! Just wanted to share some photos from my trip!

The conference itself was very informative and interesting. I learned a lot more about public relations and I’m excited to put my new knowledge to use.

However, one of the HIGHLIGHTS of my time in San Diego was getting to meet one of my favorite book bloggers, Write Meg. Weirdly enough, we both live on the East Coast, but both happened to be visiting San Diego and we decided to meet up and eat at Elephant and Castle. This was my first time meeting a fellow book blogger and it was amazing! Meg was just as amazing as I thought she would be!

Meg and I finally meeting!!!

Has anyone ever visited San Diego? What did you think?

  1. I'm SO glad we caught each other in San Diego — it was crazy but so fun! I don't think we could have even planned something like that, LOL. You're too sweet. Hopefully we'll get to see each other again soon — and until then, we'll always have our blogs! 🙂
