Book Review: Untouchable by Kate Brian

Untouchable
Author: Kate Brian
ISBN: 9781416918752

All I can say is thank goodness for the ability to put books on hold at the library, because I’ve already put the rest of this series on hold so I don’t have to wait one minute for the next book after I finish one. Each book in the series gets more and more thrilling and the third, Untouchable by Kate Brian is no exception.

Untouchable opens at the funeral of Thomas Pearson, Reed Brennan, the main character’s former boyfriend. Reed can’t believe he is dead, and is even more stunned that they haven’t figured out how he died yet.

The Billings Girls take Reed under their wing even more in the midst of tragedy. They spoil her to no end with gifts and spa days, but Reed is a bit suspicious. Are the Billings Girls really being nice or are they bribing Reed to keep quiet? Reed gets the nagging feeling that Noelle, Arianna and Kiran are hiding something. Now that Reed is in the inner circle, she doesn’t want to be lied to anymore.

While the rest of the school goes home for Thanksgiving break, Reed stays at school and finds that Josh, Thomas’s roommate is also still on campus. After a romantic kiss, Reed is giddy and finally feels like her life could be getting back on track…until Noelle lets her in on a dirty little secret that changes everything.

Oh man….I’m addicted. I love the new mystery element and I can’t wait to read the next book to find out the truth. Kate Brian always knows the perfect place to end a story to keep the reader wondering what’s going to happen next.

Read my reviews for the first and second books of the series.
