Welcome to Cover to Cover!
My name is Jessica and I am going to write a novel. There, I said it. Saying it (writing it?) out loud on a blog that anyone can see holds me accountable for actually doing it, right? I guess so.
I’ve always wanted to write a novel, but couldn’t seem to force myself to sit down and write. It’s really quite easy to distract yourself on the computer, you know? I’ve found many, many excuses not to do it.
“I’ll clean my room first, I’ll do my homework, Oh! I’ll read this book about how to write a novel and then I’ll write a novel. It doesn’t make sense to do it any other way, right?”
Oh yes, I’ve come up with many excuses over the years. Now it’s time to stop procrastinating and get writing.
I have an idea. I even have a general direction of where I want the story to go. Now, I need an outline and a plan.
And because every great writer must be an even better reader, I will be posting book reviews and more on this blog too!
