It’s Monday, What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday, What are you Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by J. Kaye’s Book Blog to discuss what we are reading this week, as well as books completed the previous week.

Books I Completed Last Week:

Holly’s Inbox by Holly Denham: Finally finished and I definitely thought it was entertaining, though it wasn’t one of my favorite books.

Confessions of a First Daughter by Cassidy Calloway: This is definitely THE cutest YA novel I have read in a long time.

The Boyfriend List by E. Lockhart: Loved it! Definitely a quick and easy read.

Books I’m Reading This Week:

Pretty in Plaid by Jen Lancaster: I love Jen’s writing style and I can’t wait to get into this one.

Does This Book Make Me Look Fat edited by Marissa Walsh: I usually don’t like reading short stories but the title of this book is just so intriguing.

Ex-Mas by Kate Brian: We all know how I love Kate Brian. This is her first novel I’m going to read that is not about Easton Academy.

So, what are you reading this week?

  1. I gave Holly's Inbox to my 20-something daughter and she had similar thoughts to yours. She's also a fan of Jen Lancaster : )
    Have a good week!

  2. I just bought Ex-Mas, but I'm a dorky theme reader and am making myself wait until the holidays to read it! I have a stack of 5 Christmas themed books to start reading after Thanksgiving. I CAN'T WAIT! I am such a Christmas junkie! 🙂

  3. Yep, I know what a fan you are of Kate Brian. I smiled when I saw this book. It sounds perfect with the holiday season so close!

  4. I have Confessions of a First Daughter on my list but I think based on your comment I'm going to move it up! 🙂

  5. These look great! I love the fact that you're not waiting until you're out of college to write your novel. I wish I'd had that focus and confidence at your age. 🙂 Happy reading and writing!
