Booking Through Thursday

Today, I’m participating in Booking Through Thursday!

Today’s question is: What’s the lightest, most “fluff” book you’ve read recently?

This is definitely an easy question for me to answer considering most of the books I read would fall under the category of “fluff.”

Yesterday, I finished the book Sleeping Arrangements by Madeleine Wickham (review to come). It was the first Wickham book I’ve ever read (though I love her writing as Sophie Kinsella), but I wasn’t too thrilled with Sleeping Arrangements. It started out verrrrrrrrrry sloooooowwwww, and really didn’t pick up until the very end. There wasn’t much action, and I have to admit, I was a little bored by the book.

Are you participating in Booking Through Thursday? If not, let me know in the comments what the most “fluff” book you’ve read lately is!

  1. I had been wanting to try Sleeping Arrangements but I'm glad I read your review first…

My latest book was Twenties Girl, but I just ordered a few new books off Amazon so hopefully I'll find a new good book soon!

  2. I haven't read any of her Wickham books yet! I just ordered one through BookMooch — I think it was Cocktails For Three? — and I'm hoping I like it! 🙂

The fluffiest book I've read lately would probably have to be My Big Nose And Other Natural Disasters. It was cute, but not enough meat to the story to make it resonate with me! It also got a little boring…
