For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved reading. When I was three years old, I received a basket of books for Christmas, and refused to open my other presents until I was finished reading each and every book.
As I’ve grown older, my love of reading has only increased. I particularly enjoy reading women’s literature (okay, call it chick lit.), contemporary fiction and young adult novels.
I’ve also always loved to write. In first grade, I scribbled page after page during journal time. In third grade, I wrote silly stories that the teacher laminated and placed on the class bookshelf. Now, as a college senior, with less than a year until I enter the “real world,” I’m penning my first novel.
