Start your week right! Every Sunday I post my favorite links from around the web and share my goals for the upcoming week.

On Instinct:
Have You Ever Saved Someone’s Life?: As a former lifeguard myself, I really appreciated Sarah Peck’s post about what it takes to save someone’s life. It’s all about instinct…as Sarah says, “The biggest factor that influences whether or not someone will help a stranger is whether or not youbelieve you know what to do.”
On Podcasts:
Podcasts: What I Love, Like and Dislike: I LOVE seeing what other people are listening to when it comes to podcasts, so I especially enjoyed Amber’s list outlining what she loves, what she just likes…and even dislikes.
On Relationships:
10 Reasons It’s Great To Be Single (Even If It’s Not What You Want): Hate being single? Believe me, I feel it from time to time. It’s not always easy, but this therapeutic post by Monica Parikh for Mind Body Green explains why being single can be great.
On Body Image:
Why I’m Going Shirtless: Here’s what I have to say to this post by my best friend Julia Paddison: HELL. YES. Julia explains why she chose to practice yoga in just her sports bra after years of body image issues. So empowering! Go, Jules!
On Productivity:
The Answer To: “Where Do You Get The TIME?!”: If you’ve ever asked someone, “But where do you get the time to do all that?!” this post by Ash Ambirge is for you!
This Week on JessicaLawlor.com:
Making Peace With My Body: As women, we tend to battle our own bodies. But lately, I’ve decided that making peace with my body is more important than hating it. Can you do the same?
Goals
- Start working on my next yoga flow! I’m aiming to create a new flow each month…I’m going to teach my August flow a few more times, but I’m excited to get started on September.
- Begin the process of potentially turning the 30 Days of Gutsy course into an ebook/workbook. Had a great call with my friend and designer Brigette about it earlier this week.
- Finally publish the post I’ve been talking about on social media for the past few weeks- I’ve put together an awesome panel of guys who I asked to answer women’s most pressing questions about dating and relationships. It’s full of juicy tid-bits. Stay tuned this week for that post!
