Founder of three start-ups and the often controversial career expert Penelope Trunk outlines the ways Gen Z will outsmart and outshine Gen Y in the workforce in a matter of years. I definitely don’t agree with all of Trunk’s points, but it’s interesting to think about how to prepare for a new generation of employees.

Goals
- Enjoy a relaxing Christmas with the family this week. Take a moment to slow down, eat lots of cookies, read by the fire and spend time with those I love the most.
- Use some of the quiet time in this week between Christmas and the New Year to plan ahead for the blog and get a few posts drafted to start 2013 off strong.
- Run my final 5K of the year, allowing me to finally complete my goal of running 12 races in 2012. It’s going to be pretty down to the wire (my race is on 12/30) but I’m excited to check this goal off the list.
