Happy royal wedding day! Since we can’t all be princesses ourselves, let’s focus on the next best thing. Books about princesses…
The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot
A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett
Princess For Hire by Lindsay Leavitt
The False Princess by Eilis O’Neal
These are obviously just a few stories about princesses. I absolutely love stories about princesses and fairy tales, because come on, who hasn’t daydreamed about being a princess at some point in their life?
I’m off to read more coverage of the royal wedding!
What’s your favorite princess themed book? Did you tune in to the royal wedding?
One of my favorites growing up was Ella Enchanted. Who doesn’t love a crazy fairy tale about a normal girl falling in love with a prince?!
I love this idea for a post! One of my favorites has to be the little Princess. But I love reading about actual historical royal families as well
I think I got over the princess thing. When Diana got married I was a teenager, and I wanted to be a princess SO BAD!!! Why her and not me? Anyway, I guess I’m glad I’m not her, since that marriage wasn’t so great…
Now I just want to be on Glee….
I DVRd the wedding, but I did peek at it while I was getting ready for work this morning.
I couldn’t watch the whole wedding, but I thought her dress was beautiful!
I loved Princess For Hire by Lindsay Leavitt! Such a fun and cute story. And who doesn’t want a job like that! Seriousley, sign me up!
Oh, Jessica, what a cute post idea! I love princess books. I’m going to have to check out “The False Princess” soon, I think.
