In My Mailbox, started by Kristi from The Story Siren is an awesome weekly meme to post what books we’ve received this week; whether it was sent for review by a publisher, purchased at a book store, borrowed from the library, or won from a giveaway.
Hope everyone had a very merry Christmas and got lots of books. Surprisingly, I never really get any books for Christmas even though my family knows how much I love them. I think they bank on the fact that I get so many books throughout the year from the library and the bookstore that I don’t need anymore than I already have (although, as you all well know, that could never be true!) I did get an iTunes gift card for my iPad, so of course I’ll be using that to buy a book or two. I’ll keep you posted on what I pick! However, even though I didn’t get anything specifically for Christmas, I did get two books this week that I’m pretty excited about.
For Review:
Other Words For Love by Lorraine Zago Rosenthal: I chose this as my Waiting on Wednesday a few weeks back, so I was super excited when I was invited to be part of Lorraine’s blog tour for her January launch! Stay tuned for my review, an interview with Lorraine, and a GIVEAWAY! Woo hoo!
From NetGalley:
The Lipstick Laws by Amy Holder: NetGalley has just been full of awesome books lately. This one is on my Debut Author Challenge list, so I am really looking forward to reading this one. Plus, Amy is from Philadelphia which makes this even more awesome!
What’s in your mailbox today?
I can’t wait to read Lipstick Laws–I have a digital copy from NetGalley & an ARC from Amy, but now I’m trying to hold off until 1.1.2011 so I can use it for the 2011 Debut Author Challenge LOL
My IMM is here, if you’re interested:
