Today, I’m participating in Booking Through Thursday!
Today’s question is: Do you prefer the beginnings of stories, or the ends?
What an interesting question! I’m going to have to go with the end of a story. I love when you get so wrapped up in a book and then as you continue reading, the story begins to come together. I like when stories wrap up into neat and tiny bows resolving all conflict (or if it’s a series, leaving me with a cliffhanger!)
The beginning is important because if the story doesn’t hook me, I’m not going to continue reading, but I think the end is just so much more crucial. Once you’ve invested yourself in someone’s story, you need to read on to find out how everything gets resolved, and that for me, is my favorite part of reading. I love getting down to those final few pages and seeing all the pieces of the puzzle come together.

Good response and with a valid point about the beginning. For me reading a book is like having sex. I require both ends. Here's mine.
An end like a tidy bow. 🙂 Haven't thought of that. But I still prefer the middle : http://pandabox33.wordpress.com/2010/04/15/booking-through-thursday-which-end/
