It’s Monday, What are you Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by J. Kaye’s Book Blog to discuss what we are reading this week, as well as books completed the previous week.
Books I Completed Last Week:
L.A. Candy by Lauren Conrad: I absolutely LOVED this book. I thought Lauren Conrad did a great job writing and told an exciting and interesting story. (review to come)
See Jane Write by Sarah Mlynowski and Farrin Jacobs: This is an awesome how-to book about writing a chick lit. novel. Very helpful for any aspiring writer! (review to come)
Invitation Only by Kate Brian: Love, love, love Kate Brian and this series. Invitation Only was no exception. Review Here.
Books I’m Reading This Week:
Second Helpings by Megan McCafferty: I’ve started this and I’m already loving it way more than the first book. I think I’m going to make it through this series!
Untouchable by Kate Brian: Now that I’m sucked into the Private series, I can’t stop reading them! I just put a few on reserve at my library so I don’t have to wait.
Adored: An It Girl novel by Cecily von Ziegesar: Oh man, I’m excited for this one. I’ve been on hold at my library for this one for two months now, and it’s finally in. I love the It Girl novels.
So, what are you reading this week?
Hooray — Second Helpings! That was definitely my favorite book in the series, and I really hope you like it. In my opinion, much better than even Sloppy Firsts! More resolution to everything, too.
I'm still reading North Of Beautiful by Justina Chen Headley… probably going to finish tonight or tomorrow!
Okay, I definitely need to look into some of these as I have not heard of them. Happy reading, I need to research. My list is here: http://rundpinne.blogspot.com/2009/09/what-are-you-reading-monday_14.html
I'm currently reading The White Queen by Philippa Gregory. Of course this is reminding me I still need to add it to my goodreads list!
First of all I would just like to say that I admire your eagerness to read. I love to read but find it overwhelming when I take a trip to the bookstore. I never know what to pick up.
Secondly, I don't know how you manage to devour so many books so fast but I need lessons! haha
So glad to hear that about Lauren Conrad's book. I really wanted to read it.
I'm reading SHIVER by Maggie Stiefvater and yes I will probably read THE LOST SYMBOL soon too. I also am about to read "Something, Maybe" because I adore Elizabeth Scott. I want to read Give up the Ghost but it's not on the Kindle.
