It’s Monday, What are you Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by J. Kaye’s Book Blog to discuss what we are reading this week, as well as books completed the previous week.
Books I Completed Last Week:
Private by Kate Brian: Loved it..I’m sucked into the series and currently waiting for the second installment to reach my library. Review Here.
Hollywood Is Like High School With Money by Zoey Dean: This is definitely one of the best books I’ve read lately. It was exactly the type of book I love to read and renewed my faith in really awesome books (considering the previous ones I read before this were duds). Review Here.
Sloppy Firsts by Megan McCafferty: I was expecting much more from this one, but I’m going to give the second book a chance. Review Here.
Books I’m Reading This Week:
LA Candy by Lauren Conrad: Like I mentioned before, I’m not expecting much (and after reading a chapter, I think I may be right) but I love Lauren Conrad, so I figured I’d give this one a chance.
Privilege by Kate Brian: Since I’m newly obsessed with Kate Brian’s books, I was excited to get my hands on this one. Question for readers of the Private series: Should I wait to finish the series before reading Privilege? I know it involves some of the same characters and I don’t want to spoil anything for myself.
Second Helpings by Megan McCafferty: I’m hoping this book will suck me into the Jessica Darling series like it has sucked in so many others before.
So, what are you reading this week?
Sounds like you had a great week of reading. I hope this week is as good, if not better.
I'm reading A Wild Affair by Gemma Townley, Easy on the Eyes by Jane Porter and Misery loves Cabernet by Kim Gruenfelder. 🙂
I'm anxiously waiting for a couple of YA novels from the library!
I want to read The Kate Brian series, looks fab! I have an award for you here!
Hey Jess,
Great blog! I started Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk on Thursday. The movie is based on the book and so far, so good. If you've seen the movie, the story is told in the same manner as the movie. Very choppy, seemingly random stories and comments with a vague idea of time.
It's very unique, but very good, too!
Anyway, that's what I'm reading!
Tom O.
Bummer about Lauren Conrad's book. I've been wanting to read it, but wasn't sure. Still on the fence though.
Great selection full of interesting looking reads! Hope you have a happy reading week, this week!
I've seen many good reviews for Hollywood is like HS… Glad you enjoyed it, it's on my TBR list.
I finished Cleopatra's Daughter this afternoon and loved it!
