In My Mailbox (39)

In My Mailbox, started by Kristi from The Story Siren is an awesome weekly meme to post what books we’ve received this week; whether it was sent for review from a publisher, purchased at a book store, borrowed from the library, or won from a giveaway.

Another fantastic week! I always love when the Galley Grab newsletter hits my inbox. This this week was even better than a normal week because this week Cover to Cover turned two years old! If you haven’t already, be sure to enter my blogoversary giveaway; two lucky winners will get to choose a book from my list of 5 star reviews.

From Galley Grab:

Virtuosity by Jessica Martinez: This one sounds really interesting…definitely not like any other book I’ve read recently. I love that the main character competitively plays the violin in this book.

Fake Me A Match by Lauren Barnholdt: I read and enjoyed a middle grade novel earlier this year, and when I saw this one by Lauren Barnholdt in the Galley Grab newsletter, I knew I definitely wanted to give it a try.

From NetGalley:

The Darlings in Love by Melissa Kantor: I had the chance to interview Melissa Kantor a few months back; I still haven’t read the first DARLINGS novel, but it’s on my list to read very soon, and I know I’ll definitely want to check out the sequel.

What’s in your mailbox today?

  1. I’ve heard great things about both Virtuosity and The Darlings, so I hope you like them! And I’ve been thinking of checking out Lauren’s middle grade books since I absolutely love her others… they look so cute.

    Happy reading! 🙂

  2. I’m really glad you’re liking Fake Me a Match! I was worried it would feel too young for me, but hopefully the cuteness factor will override that, haha. And I downloaded Virtuosity as well, although I haven’t had a chance to start it yet. I hope you enjoy!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog! 🙂

  3. All your books look great. I like reading middle grade from time to time too. I’m especially interested in reading Virtuosity.
    Happy reading 🙂

  4. I’m so excited for Virtuosity. It looks so great!

I haven’t read the first The Darlings book either. I need to get it so I can read it!

Hope you enjoy your books and thanks for stopping by my blog!

  5. Virtuosity is in my TBR pile as well and I’ve been really looking forward to reading it! Fake Me a Match looks adorable as well. Can’t wait to see your thoughts on it! Happy reading! 🙂

  6. I still haven’t read the first Darlings book yet, either! But I’ve been meaning to. Maybe I’ll wait for your review 🙂
